This Class This Quarter

This class was really fun. I may have gotten in trouble a few times. One reason why i really had fun is because we do really fun projects. Like the on last week we mad a picture using excel. That was really cool because you got to make whatever you want. Then you had to make directions to make that exact same picture i didn't really like that as much as I thought it would be. I like doing timed typing tests to see how much you can type in a minute its really challenging if you try and beat the scores from your last timed typing tests. 

Fishing

I like going fishing because it gives you something to do. I really like going fishing at the Lake of the Ozarks. I like that because you can catch all kinds of fish like big catfish or small fish for bait. I really like going out on the lake to fish because thats where the real big fish are at so you can also catch a lot out there. I at least go fishing every year because that is what i like to do. I remember one day when i was little i liked fishing so much i got a fishing rod and walked down to my creek.

US and Europe Beliefs

I think that US is right i think because they have it to where you can be unique and not ordinary. Here is an example of ordinary if you drive in to Bailey Station the houses all look sort of the same as another. That is ordinary. I feel like he is right because everybody can be unique from another they don't all have to look the same as each other. The better mindset is to look differently from each other. The US mindset is to look unique or different from  each other or like don't match.

Hunting

People think hunting is boring because you have to have patience and wait till you see something in the woods moving. Its not just that hunting is like a sport a game some people say. But if your sitting out there all day and you get a deer then you can make food out of it. Also once you got that deer you don't have to worry about going out in the woods again unless you want to get another deer. The only problem is that you cant point or move really fast and you talk in a whisper.

Seven Identical doors

. The door that I want to choose is Narnia and I choose that door because that is the only place that I know there is. What happens is that i would help the kids get back to there hide and go seek game inside the house. The kids were playing the game inside the house and one little girl decides to hide in a closet and she makes her way to the back and she finds a door and she went outside in the other secret world that nobody knows about yet and she sees a creature that looks half man and half billy goat.

Memory Bottle

I would bottle me going camping because when I was camping I went fishing by a near by lake. That lake you had to be careful for snakes. One time actually my brother was screaming because he saw a snake. when he was screaming I was laughing so hard because he was screaming over a baby snake. When we got back I was mad that we left because that weekend was so fun. I would open it every once in awhile.

Dear Mrs. Debolt:

Hi this is Nathan Hirth, I will tell you about myself. The first thing I really like is soccer, last year I won South County districts. I usually go hunting every year. My first time i went hunting I was 10 years old. I like taking my dirt bike out and riding it in the woods and creek.Every once in awhile I'll attend a race. The next thing i like is playing football next year I am going to play on the football team. They might actually have the seventh graders play on the eight grade football team.

The one main thing that I think you don't know is that I have asthma. Me and my stepdad have a lawn care business. I bet me and my stepdad get more business than Ryan Whestoff and his friend. Every once in awhile i would attend the West city fishing tournament. This Christmas I am grtting a game system called the play station three.


The only thing I really didn't like about technology was the teachers. I always thought the teachers were so boring. But to make you feel better I think this year will be different.

Prison Letter 2506

I got a letter this week. It was from a former school classmate. He told me about how he is in prison now. I thought that would happen because he acted so stupid in class. Its like he didn't care what he was going to do when he grows up. Maybe he didn't care about school cause he thought he wasn't smart. What I mean about that is kids would make fun of him because he had F's.

JEFCO EXPRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today after school I have a softball game in Kirkwood. Josh, my boyfriend , is also going to my game to cheer me on. We have a back to back game. One is at 6:00 and the other is at 7:30. Softball games are about an hour long but we will use the thirty min break for more water food or to go to the bathroom.

I don't know who we are playing yet but i will when i get there. Yesterday we practiced really hard so hard the coach even had sweat falling off his eyes.

This year in technology was a good year. What i liked about this class was the scavenger hunt project. Even though we didn't get to present it it was still a blast.I loved that we got to go around the school to find what we needed. Sometimes i think my group cheated because we went to the art room and took pictures of all shapes there. This class was a great class. you type the whole time. the directions that we need to use is on the computer instead of on the board. I like that we have fun and creative projects on the computer like a power point. What i don't like about this class is, i have nothing.

A Hero Dog

A dog saved this mans life. There was a fire and a firefighter was the only one from his dispatch inside. While some men were trying to put out the blazing fire, others were searching for people still inside. Everyone came out safe but Steve was stuck inside. So the team realized this soon after the fire went out. They sent there best K9 out to find Steve because the ashes and smoke were to heavy to see through. 10 to 15 min later the dog came out with nothing. The out came Steve from behind the dog carrying a baby that was stranded inside the burnt out building. The crowd went wild.

Santa is on the roof because he told one of his Rain deer to stay there and wait for him to come back from putting presents under the Christmas tree, but of course the Rain deer didn't want to listen to Santa because he was jacked up on egg nog. Santa came back onto the roof and they were gone so he sat there and thought maybe they would come back. He waited 3 hours and no Rain deer. He thought hey maybe if i set out Rain deer treats they would smell it and come back. No Rain deer 2 hours later. So it was morning and there he is alone on the roof.

I open that door because that means that i am a wizard or warlock . I could create spells to do cool things. Even though there is always weird things going on and i could help to stop it.i could become very powerful and i can meet harry potter. I could do crazy things like fly on a griffin.

Wolverine

Wolverine is my favorite character from x men. My favorite one that he is in is the x men origins. Its my 2nd favorite movie of all time. It starts from when he was just a kid and tells its viewers he has a brother who has the same power as him but it come out of his fingers. Wolverines real name is Jimmy but he changed it to Logan. He got the name wolverine from his girl friend that hes been with for 6 years. then at the end of the movie she dies and he gets shot in the head with a bullet and forgets who she is. He has super healing powers and that's why he didn't die. It was a great movie but i would like to see all of them in order.

What It Makes Me Think Of.

It makes me think of the movie called the Incredible. When  he uses it to measure how big he is ,the dad, and when he dose it doesn't even fit around him so he sucks in. He started to lift trains as weights and he did more things around the house to get skinnier to be able to fit in his super hero suit. He dose loose weight so all his work paid off . He becomes stronger so he can save the world. The things he did around the house was he started playing catch with his son help his wife clean and feed the baby named Jack Jack. He is a cute baby he reminds me of my little cousin.

I love my dog Lola she is the first dog I have ever had. I love her she is the cutest little thing. I cant wait to get home because she runs from her little room down stairs in the living-room into the kitchen and into my arms. When we give her a bath she always looks like a shaved lamb because her hair is all down and smoothed out. She loves my mom more then me but at least she loves me more then my little brother and sister. When she was a puppy she jumped onto the toilet jumped onto the bathroom counter the chewed up our tooth brushes and tooth paste. I guess its a good thing she did because her teeth were always brushed. Her hair was all puffed out 3 years ago now shes 5.

The memory i would bottle up is when me and my best friend met. It was in softball and choir when we really got to see each other and talk for the first time. i remember in choir i had craziness in my veins. I didn't even know who she was and i jumped on her back like a mad women. It was so funny to see her face when I did. Then in softball we were the 2 best players on the team she was a 1st base men and i was the catcher. We would hit the ball into the out field every time.I would open the bottle every time we fight or when im down and sad to cheer me up and to remember all the good times we had together.we have our ups and downs so id open it to be happy again.

At the High School Track Meet me and my best friend had a lot of fun. We played in mulch over half the time but the rest was so much fun. when the High school teams went to the throwing pit we followed so we could see their form because we are throwers and we would like to improve. when we made our way back over the speaker said a girl threw 104 feet with a discus i can throw maybe about 40. I was so proud to know how far i could throw eventually, when i get good any way. Then we watched the boys do hurdles a boy fell and everybody gasped. i felt bad because i laughed after a guy hurddeld over him, but he got up really fast so i knew he was OK.

Changes Over Time

     Some of the differences over time through 2005-2013 is that many electronics have been develop and are now being used more in everyday life. Also that the clothes have been upgraded and the camera focus has been upgraded as well.This is a significant change because for many years people say that the future will be all metal with no trees or grass and floating ships.

   My name is Gabi Boyer but i have 4 last names. When im bored at home i play MW3 its a shooting game im at level 80 the highest . I play softball for Desoto Xpress and i play for the select team also. My position is catcher and out feild. I have a dog her name is Lola. Shes 5 years old and soon to die, but i will remember her forever because she was and is also my first dog ever.
   
   My favorite color is green because its my birth stone, witch means i was born in August. My mom and dad broke up when i was little and they still never told me why they did, so its kinda sad when you go to a friends house and their dad is always there.I am also 13 im taller then my mom so if you cant reach a shelf im your girl.

    I like computers because they will awnser all your qustions, and when im boed i can play on them. My favorite thing to do on computers is to make awsome powerpoints. i search for great photos to put on them so they look color or if they are about books i can find pictures from little words about it on a browser.

technology

In technology this quarter we did all kinds of things regarding computers. I learned quite a few things this quarter also, like a CPU is not the same as a computer. the CPU is a central processing unit. I also had a lot of fun in this class. We did all kinds of fun projects like building a desktop picture, making a bushiness brochure, word lessons 1-4, and also a project learning the basics of a computer.

The finals

The finals are pretty long if you ask me. It takes two days just to take them. and there over all your classes like social studies, com. arts science and math most likely my favorite one is math. I love math. My favorite math problems are proportions. In the other classes like band, technology, and P.E. you do the fitness test a blog on how you liked the class and what you learned, and just do band work sheets.

Dinosaurs

Dinosaurs lived millions of years ago. They were big small fat skinny and some could swim. There were quite a few dinosaurs like T Rex, Bracheosaurus, Ankelyasaurus, and ones that swam named Tylasaurus, and Ictheyasaurus. they had ate many things like meat fruits and vegetables and also both. They were called carnivores  herbivores, and omnavors. They aren't around today but there are museums with them.

The Door I Chose

I came upon seven doors at first I didn't know what it was all about when suddenly a voice from above said these doors lead to seven different places. out of all seven I chose wonderland. when I got there,I was greeted by the mad hatter and the hare we had a cup of tea then I went to see the dodo we talked a little and then I returned the the mad hatter. He showed me around a little and we talked and played around a little and suddenly the red queen showed up and captured us. I had to fight the red queen to earn our freedom so I did and I won, earned the crown and was called king.

They Took Everything, Except One Thing

I was walking home and noticed a strange van drive by. I didn't quite catch the licence plate because it was driving pretty fast. When I got home, the door was wide open. I walked in and everything was gone then I noticed something laying on the floor and it was a German penny I found on the ground in Colorado over the summer. I called the police and never told them about the penny I found. then I realized who it was. I ran over to my friends house and asked if he would let me borrow his bike. He let me use it but the tires were flat so it was kind of hard to ride.then I realized, that was only the beginning.

Valintines day

Valinetines day is the day were you show your LOVE to famly and if you have one, boy friend/girl friend, its also my dads birth day on Valinettines day. My dad kina has like a double bounus because of that. Any way i like Valinetines day because of all the chocolate hearts and heart boxes full of candy you  get. You also get to give these chocolate hearts to people. Valinetines day is the love day so make sure you show your love and apreceation to other people.

frogs

Do you like frogs cause i do. Frogs are very different is variety, they are small and big. they also are relatives of the toad and are smooth in skin and are not warty like toads they also spend most of there life in water.

Pigs

I like pigs there chubby, pink, and they snort. they are also pretty good too, I mean like they taste good. they are good because they have bacon, pork, ham and so on and so forth. they are also pretty smart too did you know that they are smarter than dogs. I would like to have a pet pig but they are big and messy. I don't do good with stuff like that because, one I don't clean very good, and two we already have three dogs. they also could be easy to take care of because of how they eat slop which is all kinds of left overs and rotten food

My pets

I have quite a few pets. I have a fish named fafiner, hes a Japanese fighting fish, a beagle who is lazy most of the time but can be really active when she wants to be. I also have two Boxers and golly they are the nicest dogs you'll ever meet. Anyway there are animals I've had in the past to like three box turtles, another Japanese fighting fish, and a red eared slider. That red eared slider was the best.

Clouds

Have you ever looked up at the clouds there are all kinds of shapes. For instance, they are shaped like dogs, cats, turtles, dragons, and many other things. Also if you look at them at sunset then they look orange. I think that that is pretty cool looking. they also have different kinds of clouds. They also come in different sizes too. They can also be really dark that means that they are rain clouds and are most likely going to rain at some point. If you ever get a chance look at the clouds and see what they look like to you.

Why we should Not Have School on Veteran's Day

We should not have Veterans Day because well its Veterans Day. If we had a Veteran in our family how would we celebrate it with them. Veterans day is a called that because we celebrate how our Veterans have helped us earn freedom. Its kind of cool what we do at school and all but I think we should be at home with our veterans in our families. we could also have the veterans choose what they want to do that day. Who knows maybe they just want to sleep in or go do something.

My Favorite Animal

If I had to choose my favorite animal, it would be the turtle. Turtles are amazing because they are slow, have a shell, and best of all they are reptiles. I love reptiles because they are interesting to learn about. they are cold blooded, so they have to be in warm areas all the time. they also come in all shapes and sizes, like from the small gecko to the large komodo dragon.

Hello my name is Nathaniel Banks. We haven't really gotten to know each other so I figured I would tell you a little about me. I sit at computer #23, I like to talk to my friends and joke around some times, I like Italian, I play basketball and enjoy it. I live with my Mom, Dad, and my brother. I have a fish and three dogs. Somewhere I would like to go is Spain.

Things I would like to have are lots of fun, and when I grow up a Ford GT. I really like the Ford GT because one its Ford and second it fast. I like fast cars and that's just the way I am. i like to have fun because I can't ever sit still and I like to joke around. I also like to go out\side and play with my friends.

My experience with computers is not very good. I usually ask for help but this year I'm doing a lot better on them. I'm not very good at typing so I'll probably be pretty bad at typing at first. Other than that I'm pretty good I think. I can usually search stuff by myself pretty good to. I'm also a quick learner.

When I looked at this picture I thought about two things one trains and second how deserted it was. When I looked at that picture, I thought about how lonely it was and that there should have been a train on those tracks, or that there could have been kids playing there.

Hi I'm Nathaniel Banks and I am going to tell you what my favorite car is. My favorite car is the Ford GT. Its a very slim looking car and is pretty fast to. I like it because it is a Ford and personally I like ford. The Ford GT is the car I want when I grow up.
